Discovering Extraordinary Grace in an Ordinary Life

Weekend Wonder

May you get lost in the possibility of giving more than a tin of cookies or a gift under the tree.

Wrapped in the story of a mischievous cat we are reminded to think about what we are willing to give someone’s holiday better. Everyday life may not be as outwardly dramatic, but inwardly people are just as devastated.  What will you give to meet them where their need is?

We have the opportunity at Christmas to enter in to people’s lives in ways the rest of the year may not afford. What are you going to do to really show someone love this Christmas?

About Becky Hastings

I am emotional and logical. I am strong and dependent. I am a juxtaposition of head and heart exploring it all through writing. And in all my mixed-up ways I am loved. I’m here to tell you that you are, too. Just the way you are.

  1. Yeah I think most people are tired of gifts. It is so much nicer to do a favor for people, let them go first in line, pay the bill for a mom with several kids at McDonalds… We give to charities every year instead of buying gifts. Merry Christmas!
